LT-55 Screen Captures For Printing

Using the iTask feature on the iPAQ, you can easily take a screen shot (picture of the screen) and then print it out for a quote that you can offer your customer right in the field. This can include a picture of the .dxf file showing what the countertop will look like, as well as details about the job like what kind of edges will be used and any pricing you are offering.

First we need to set up iTask to prefor the job of taking a screen capture:

1.
Click the Start button.
2.
Tap Settings.
3.
Tap the System tab.
4.
Tap iTask Settings.
5.
In the Label drop-down list, select iTask.
6.
In the Menu Item drop-down list, select any area you want (preferably one marked Unassigned).
7.
In the Replace With drop-down list, expand the Internal folder.
8.
In the list, select either Capture or Delay Capture.
9.
Tap the OK button.
10.
Click OK

To capture a screen, simply do the following:

1.
Push the iTask button.
2.
Tap and hold the iTask item at the bottom of the menu.
3.
Select either Capture or Delay Capture.

If you used Capture, the screen will be captured immediately (including the iTask menue itself). If you used Delay Capture (the option you want), the iTask menu will close and the screen will be captured in a few seconds. You will hear a beep in both cases when the screen has been captured.

The images wil be stored in the My Device folder in files named Captnnnn.bmp (where nnnn is a four-digit number).
