Testimonials (Jason Coache)
There's a lot I'd like to
say about the LT55 but I'll try to keep it short.
After having CNC technology for years we realized
it was time to step up and purchase a in field digitizer. We studied ALL the
digitizing products on the market for 4 years prior to purchasing the LT-55.
We didn't feel like any of the systems we studied really fit our needs. Most
were cumbersome and/or impractical at best. At the 2005 ISSFA Convention I watched
Dan give a demonstration of the LT-55 and I was immediately impressed. The LT-55
seamed to be compact enough to carry to job sites, rugged, accurate, and easy
to use. With it being less than 1/2 of the cost of some other products, it certainly
fit our budget. We purchased one at the show, and I have been using it every
day since. This has been by far the best purchase we have made since buying our
CNC. I would recommend this product to anyone! ...anyone except our competition.
We delivered a countertop to a condo project we
were working on. A confused looking super-intendant stopped us as we were carrying
the countertop off truck and demanded that we tell him why the areas that butted
the wall looked wavy like the ocean. He thought there was definitely something
wrong with our top. We invited him up to watch us install it and it fit his walls
perfectly. We told him that we use the LT-55 laser templator. We don't get questioned
anymore."
Here's a couple one liners:
"The accuracy of the LT-55 has spoiled our
installers. Now, if by some chance they have to scribe anything they call me
complaining."
"Best damn thing since slice bread. The
only thing that would make the LT-55 better is if it drove itself to the jobsite
and emailed me back the drawing."
If you guys couldn't tell, I'm very pleased with
using the LT-55 & with the way your company/personnel handles the few
minor problems I have had. I would be honored if you chose to use one of my
testimonials. I do use this every day and I almost feel bad when someone makes
the mistake of asking me about it. I must really sound like I'm building these
things myself in my backyard and have to sell them. The LT-55 has made my job
easier and more accurate. Our installers couldn't be happier that 99% of the
time they don't have to scribe a countertop. The only drawback I can see is
if people are actually trying to use all the functions on the PDA to finish
their drawings. That's kind of a double edged sword. The use of a PDA instead
of a laptop makes the LT-55 more practical to move around but it also makes
it somewhat more difficult to use all its functions on a much smaller screen.
I have found it to be much easier to just take a rough drawing back to my computer
and finish the drawings in AutoCAD. So, in a sense I'm not using all the functions
the LT-55 software has to offer. But, all in all, it does everything I need
it to do and if you were to tell me I would have to pay more for it, I certainly
would. So Kudos to you for having a great product that has helped our company
be more profitable.
