I have to admit; we had problems at first and found out that most of it was the learning curve (getting the guys to accept the lasers vs. wood templates). Once we got over that hump, the laser templates have been a great addition to our automated division. I would like to warn anyone using the template makers (plastic templates using big plotters) out there, they need to be calibrated on a regular basis or they will cause your templates to be bigger or smaller than the actual file. You will think the laser files aren’t right when it’s really the plotter not being calibrated or maintained.
