Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized individual to serve as a corporate trainer. This highly engaging and energetic individual will interact daily with our customers, educating and training them on our product’s basic and advanced uses. This person will use the latest technology to train remotely (via webinar and/or video) from our corporate training center or their home if they work remotely, as well as in person at the customer’s facility or actual job site. This person will also work to improve and innovate around our training processes continually.
Responsibilities
- Product and process training
- Follow standard training procedures to ensure all training across the country is similar
- Evolve training programs, via web or in-person on an as-needed basis, to keep up with business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Constantly revise best practices new innovations are brought to market
- Assist in recording new training videos (how-to, quick tips, etc.)
- Manage and improve our training center including
- Propose and implement technology adds or improvements to make training more professional, efficient and/or effective
- General maintenance, repair, and housekeeping
- Software testing and support”
- Assist in developing new and/or improved features in our software as well as testing all software releases, and working with our developers, and end-users.
- Assist with Level 2 Support calls (templating/software related)
- Other duties as required:
- Spend time in the field to consistently maintain industry knowledge
- Record all customer contacts in our CRM (Salesforce)
- Book all travel arrangements for on-site trainings including flights, car rentals, and hotels
- Track expenses and create an expense report on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or high mechanical/software/hardware aptitude
- Experience with the LT-2D3D Laser Templator not required but is be beneficial
- Ability to travel a minimum of 40% of the time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Patience and the ability to work with all personalities and skill levels
- Background in the stone industry either templating or installing is a plus
- Problem-solving skills, especially around logistics and resource requirements
- Salesforce experience preferred not required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Experience in using GoToMeeting, Google Meet, Zoom, etc. a plus
