Install CDM (USB) Driver

The CDM (USB) Driver allows the Tablet PC to communicate with the Laser/Encoder via USB. This is installed on every Tablet PC before it is shipped however if the Tablet PC does recognize the laser is connected but it will not connect through the LT-2D3D/LT-55 XL software, re-installation of the CDM Driver corrects the problem. If the Tablet PC does not recognize the laser being connected, that means there is a communication error between circuit board and the Tablet PC. Please contact us for more information on this.

Windows 7, 8 & 10

1. Download the CDM Driver from here.
2. Double click on the CDM21224_Setup.exe file.
3. Click Extract.
4. Click Next.
5. Select I accept this agreement.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Finished.
8. Click Start and search for Device Manager.
9. Click the + next to Universal Serial Bus Controller.
10. Double click on Universal Serial Converter.
11. Click on the Advanced tab.
12. Make sure Load VCP is checked. If not, check it.
13. Unplug and then plug back in the USB cable.
