Unable To Install .NET

Issue:

The LT-55 XL software needs .NET 4.0 installed in order to run. When you attempt to install it, you receive the following error: HRESULT 0xc8000222

Cause:

There is a problem with the WaAuServ process running on your computer and it needs to be restarted.

Solution:

1. Click Start
2. Type cmd
3. Right click Command Prompt and choose run as administrator (A command prompt window will open)
4. Type net stop WuAuServ in the command prompt and press Enter and leave the command prompt open
5. Click Start
6. Type %windir%
7. Find the folder named SoftwareDistribution. Rename it SoftwareDistributionBackup
8. Back to the command prompt, type net start WuAuServ
9. Install .NET Framework
